Here’s a step-by-step guide to our admissions process.

Admission Process at 7 Continents Montessori

1. Inquiry and Tour

• Initial Inquiry: Begin by filling out our online inquiry form or contacting our admissions office at 407.969.1897 or 7continentsmontessori@gmail.com. This helps us understand your interest and provides you with basic information about our school.
• Information Session: Attend an information session or open house. These sessions offer a comprehensive overview of our Montessori philosophy, curriculum, and community. It’s an opportunity to meet our staff, tour our facilities, and ask questions.
• Schedule a Tour: Schedule a personalized tour of our campus to see our classrooms in action. Tours are led by our admissions team and provide a glimpse into the daily life at 7 Continents Montessori.
• Observation: During the tour, you will have the chance to observe a classroom in session, witnessing firsthand how our educators guide and interact with students.

2. Application Submission

• Application Form: Complete and submit the application form along with the required documents, which may include previous school records, birth certificate, and any relevant health information. The application fee of $200.00 is due at this time and will be deducted from the first month enrollment fee.

3. Family Interview

• Interview Scheduling: Once your application is reviewed, we will contact you to schedule a family interview. This is a crucial part of our admissions process.
• Interview: The family interview allows us to get to know you and your child better. We discuss your educational goals, answer any questions you may have, and ensure that our school aligns with your expectations and values.

4. Child Observation/Visit

• Classroom Visit: Your child will be invited to spend some time in a classroom appropriate for their age group. This visit helps us observe how your child interacts with the Montessori environment and peers.
• Assessment: For older children, a brief assessment may be conducted to understand their academic and social development levels.

5. Review and Decision

• Review Process: After the family interview and student visit, our admissions committee will review all gathered information to make an informed decision.
• Notification: You will be notified of the admissions decision within a week. You will receive an acceptance letter and an enrollment package if accepted.

6. Enrollment

• Enrollment Confirmation: To secure your child’s spot, submit the completed enrollment forms and the enrollment fee by the specified deadline.
• Orientation: Attend the orientation session for new families. This session covers essential information about our school policies, procedures, and how to prepare your child for their first day.
